ABOVE: Mrs. Barbara Kyrios, as teacher of Home Economics, instructs girls in the basics of cooking and sewing, pro- viding them with a good foundation for their future roles as housewives. CENTER: Mr. Francis Convy, vocal director at Southbridge High School, and LOWER LEFT: Mr. Herbert Aro noff, director of the band, teach students the finer points of singing and music. Through their instruction, students learn how small parts can blend together to create a finished product. LOWER RIGHT: Mrs. Jean Grebb is certainly well qualified for her position as our school librarian. Her efficient organization of the facilities, her wide knowledge and expe rierice, and most of all, her sincere desire to help enable the students and teachers to take full advantage of our library. Knowing another lan- guage is to the advantage of the individual as well as of the national interest. Learning a foreign language is learning to communicate. To communicate one must be able to listen, to speak, to read and to write the language he wishes to master. In teaching these fundamental skills we hope to instill under- standing and compassion for other cultures and civilizations.
