Student Co-Operative Association Participation in various organizations is an opportu¬ nity presented to the students at Southampton. Here they work ' together with adult supervision, carrying out proj¬ ects which render service not only to the individual, but also to the school and community. The SCA is such an organization. Through its activi¬ ties, it provides opportunities for practicing good citizen¬ ship during school life. Some projects which have been successfully com¬ pleted this year are: 1. Financed and published Student Handbook. 2. Parked cars at football games. 3. Managed the concessions stand at all games. 4. Supervised milk distribution during lunch time. 5. The Beta Club, a member of the National Beta Club of America, is an educational orga¬ nization for Junior and Senior students in high school. The purpose of the club is to promote scholarship, leadership, ideals of honesty, and to encourage students to continue their education beyond high school.
