ADMINISTRATION DR. ROBERT W. GOLDMAN MR. DONALD C. MERCURE Business Manager As you complete this important phase of your education it would be only natural for each of you to pause and reflect upon these years of school and the influence they have had upon your life. I would hope that each of you finds her or himself prepared for the next role in your life. I would further hope that you will begin to feel the loss of an important part of your life — teachers, classes, music, sports, friends, games, dances, and all the other unique expe¬ riences that you have had in your school life. Many, many people have worked hard and with dedication to provide these experiences for you. Besides teachers, your parents and members of the community have supported your education and look to you as the future leaders of our community and Nation. I am convinced that that trust is not mis¬ placed and that our future will be secure in your hands. Robert W. Goldman, Ph.D. Superintendent of Schools 22 MR. JOHN N. THOMAS Associate Principal

MR. WILLIAM L. PERRY Assistant Superintendent of Schools MS. JOSEPHINE A. KELLEHER Associate Principal MR. GREGORY J. PLUNKETT It seems almost impossible that you, the class of 1979, are ready to graduate from High School. I’ve enjoyed working and learning with you during the last three years and I wish you all the best for the future. Many of you have become more than just members of a class, you have become friends and it is not easy to watch you graduate and leave South Windsor High School. Your class has done many things very well. Right from the start of your senior year you have, worked diligently to make the year a suc¬ cess. The officers you elected have served you well and are a credit to the class of 1979. As you leave South Windsor High School, go with the confidence that we care about you and are proud of you. The success you have had here and the maturity and good judgement you have demonstrated make me confident that you will be successful in the future. Gregory J. Plunkett Principal
