Agriculture class hikes to George Gerdes I home to judge cattle fsome hike just to look at cowsj. El Wednesday 3.-Seniors choose play. . , 1' Thursday 4.-We all have our pictures taken for the movies. 1 M Friday 5.-Rev. Beisiegel, pastor of Booneville and Collamer Christian churches, l talk to us about Education, just as if we didnit know all about it after 15 twelve years. l 'i Monday 8.-Carl Hartle informs us that the types of hogs are Lard, Bacon, and l General Purpose. ' Tuesday 9.-We all attend the theater to see ourselves in the movies. Several people are slightly disappointed. ' 1 Wednesday 10.-Beatrice is awakened from a very peaceful sleep by Mr. Kindy. 'N Thursday 11.-Armistice Day is fittingly observed with the Glee Club singing ap' propriate numbers during chapel. XI Friday 12.--A Sophomore boy goes hunting and luckily catches a skunk. Luckily, lx because he gets to go home to change clothes. Nl Monday 15.-Most of the High School gets the benefit of one of Carl's love notes. l Tuesday 16.-Seniors meet and choose a date for first party. . . U Wednesday 17.-Seniors meet and change date for first party. The change is due L to the Fall Festival. i - . . , if Thursday 18.-No afternoon classes for Seniors, as they have to meet the representaf ll tive of the Eort Wayne Engraving Co. if Friday 19.-No chapel as the chapel was given over yesterday to Mrs. Taylor, wife of a colored bishop, who spoke on 'iWhy we attend school. ri l Monday 22.-Miss Mason tells us how to sell tickets for the Fall Festival. l Tuesday 23.-lt is near the end of the second six week period, and tests are freely il Wednesday 24.-Everyone sad because school closes at three o'clock for the rest of ll the week on account of Thanksgiving vacation. ll Monday 29.-Senior rings arrive. Much more beautiful than we thought they would be. 1 Tuesday 50.-Agriculture class starts on trip to Chicago. Everyone resolves to take Agriculture next year. Thursday 2.-One of the Juniors receives such a high grade in English that the shock forces her to quit school. Friday 3.-Boys in agriculture have to give an account of their actions in Chicago before the assembly. Monday 6.-junior boys raising mustaches. After a fevv months, when we can see them, we will tell you more about them. Tuesday 7.-Fuzzy gets a hair cut at the library. Wediiesday 8.-Latin Club meeting. Thursday 9.- Flunlto class increases enrollment from fortyffive to fiftyfthree. Friday 10.---lvlr. Lindsey gives us a splendid talk on Enthusiasm. Monday 13.-junior boys cut mustaches so that they will not makes Mr, Wright jealous. Tuesday 14.-jim Cravv informs us that the cause of the increasing divorce rate is marriage. Wednesday 15.-Boys' basket hall team goes to North Manchester to practice for tournament, Thursday 16.-Two boys take vacations this afternoon. Frlday 17.-Last pep session before tournament. Monday 18.-Everyone disappointed because the trip of the boys to North Man' chester did not have satisfactory results. Three Junior girls ordered to get to work, Tuesday 21.-Miss Whitehorn reminds us that this is Tuesday not Thursday, the day before vacation, Wednesday 22.-W'e can hardly wait. Thursday 23.-Last day of school this year. Santa Claus comes and we discover that John means it when he says he is training, as he does not eat any candy, but carries some home just the same. Page SS
