Eighth grade was moved into assemhly. Tuesday 7.-Our first regular day of school. Students are classified and teachers meet classes for just a few minutes. Wednesday 8.-We discover that there are fourteen Seniors, twentyffour juniors, twentyfseven Sophs, twentyfseven Freshies, and thirtyfsix eighth graders. Thursday 9.-School settled down in good shape. Friday 10.-We are informed of the Rules and Regulations of the school hy Principal Jollief. Monday 13.-First regular faculty meeting, Tuesday 14.-Ethel Bent: enters school, making fifteen Seniors. We are told to park our cars on south side of school. Wednesday 15.-Classes are organized. Thursday 16.-Seniors surprised hy first civics test of year. Ma1'shall is caught destroying school property. Friday 17.-Miss Whitehtirii gives a report of her trip abroad. Monday 20.-We notice that several boys have joined the BfY Cluh. Tuesday 21.-Several members of the new club are sent to the oflice. Wednesday 22.-Freshmen are told to take special notice that it isn't against the rules of the school to take a book home. Thursday 23.-First girls' hasket hall meeting. Kate reports inability to play on account of hroken arches. Friday 24.--Rev. Bogue has charge of the Chapel service. Monday 27.-The strange noises are accounted for by the presence of a piano tuner. A Senior girl has her seat moved nearer to the desk. Tuesday 28.-Three boys, who were ahsent the seventh and eighth periods Monday, are given special invitations to the oflice. Wednesday 29.-First meeting of the Annual Staff. We learn that the success of this hook depends on us.
