'xp Friday 4.-Chapel entertainment furnished by the Freshmen. ll Monday 7.-Every one bright and happy after a strenuous week-end. Gilford back in school. if t I Tuesday 8.-Art class goes to Columbia City to view Art Exhibit. Gilford back 1, pelled to run up stairs, which is hard on him in his physical condition. 'V Wednesday 9.-Mr. Jollief requests that all who did not talk between bells should 1 remain in their seats. Every one leaves. ,I ll Thursday 10.-Latin classes are treated to a special three period test. l Friday 11.-Piano tuner here again. fp T! Monday 1-1.-Valentine Day. Every one pleasantly surprised, ll. Tuesday 15.-Mr. Allen busy fixing up laboratory equipment in room 10. After ! this we expect the science classes to learn a lot. ' Wediiesday 16.-The spring weather takes erlect on two Sophomores. Walter wears his Palm Beach suit and Carl wears his Ice Cream trousers. I l Thursday 17.-Rev, Brodie tells us how to Play Ball. Those students who are matrimonially inclined are given a chance to get married free. No one was ix hurt in the rush. I Friday 18.-Sophomore class gives an entertaining program, with some very amusing readings. , Monday 21.-Several have colds-probably from too much night air. l l Tuesday 22.-George Spann makes us all envious by withdrawing. just imagine! i! hi i an iiaisiviim' ae e MARCH Tuesday 1.-Nice new month to ruin. Several confused by shortness of the last one. Wednesday 2.--Grade cards again. We get these things entirely too often. Thursday 3.-Prize fight in basement. Homer's dignity is unavailing against Miles' red hair. We are let out of class to listen to Mr. Brodie's lecture on Burns. Friday 4.-juniors give program. Marshall arrives about noon. We wonder if the two facts are related. Monday 7.-District Tournament all over, and not much said about B. B. today. Tuesday 8.-Plans made for lnterfclass B. B. Tournament. Wednesday 9.-Tickets for Tournament on sale. lt sounds like a plot. Thursday 10.-Gifford finds the nice weather a reason to go fishing. Friday 11.-Prof. Marshall of Indiana Central College gives us an amusing Mark Twain program. We can't tell when to applaud, but at that we managed to get in quite a few encores. Monday 14.-Tournament huge success. Boys all joyful over prospect of going to State Tournament fats visitorsj. Tuesday 15.-Boys like to hear the teachers give Friday's assignments because they won't be here, Wednesday 16.-We hear nothing but Tournament and pretend we aren't interested when we are all dying to go. Thursday 17.-Senior Play cast picked. Mr. Stevens tells us to blame him if we don't like the part we are given. Friday 18.-We have a good time in the absence of several teachers. Girls' B. B. party given at Plattneifs. Monday 21.-First play practice. Several prospective stars have the wind taken out of their sails. Tlleiday 22--Senior Awkestra coming along nicely. Wednesday 23.-We practice second act-even worse than iirst. Thursday 24.-Mr. Ross rescues a bird. Freda and Ruth have lunch the third period. Mary Anne and Betty find a new excuse to get out of school: to print tickets. Friday 25.-Robert joins the girls in their thirdfperiod party. Monday 28.-Many out of school with measles. Tuesday 29.-Mr. ,lollief gives a lecture during noon hour. Wednesday 30.-Three Caesar students take a fall from their ponies.
