Tuesday 4.-Several absent on account of colds UQ, Lots of snow, but we use it in V the wrong way. Snow seems to have been made to look at. l 1 Wednesday 5.-Several boys give thanks that Mr. Kindy is soon to leave when he forbids them to loiter in the basement. They don't need to be so glad because 4, any other teacher would do the same. if Thursday 6.-Basket ball players must obey new rule of I. H. S. A. A., pertaining it to physical examinations, so that several students are absent from school. l, 4, Friday 7.--Mr. jollief reminds us of a pleasant event about to occur, when he an' 1' nounces the exam schedule. l Monday 10.-john and Weiidell both absent. lt seems they were going home . l, after? 7 7. Looks bad. i, . .. li Tuesday 11.-We hear that it took Miss Whitehtirii one hour to sleep live minutes. l Wednesday 12.--Everyone busy reviewing. V Thursday 13, Friday 14-As examinations took up both of these days, We could think of nothing else and did not notice if anything of importance happened. I Monday 17.-Second Semester. Classes organized and school dismissed at noon. Tuesday 18.-A new pupil asks Mr. Wright if he can make a hay rack in shop. V 1 Wednesday 19.-Seniors hard at work on Annual. ii Thursday 20.-Two members of the seventhfeighth grade basket ball team caught il smoking and are put off team. Vv'e would say they are starting young if this l were so, but they are not very young. , Friday 21.-Eighth grade entertained us during chapel. Monday 24.-Eighth grade received first callingfdown of the week. if l r Tuesday 25.-Carl again visits the office. This is getting to be regular! N i Wednesday 26.-George Spann is unable to sit in chair, and consequently comes to school with his arm in a sling. , r Thursday 27.-Everyone dressed up to have pictures taken, but their beauty is wast- li ed as the photographer does not arrive. i l Friday 28.-No Chapel. Agriculture and Home Economics classes go to North Manchester to Purdue Short Courses. Monday 51.-Photographer at last arrives. Qi t P1126 90
