Chapter IV. 1. The tribe again opened its sojourn and continued its Search this year, numbering twenty-nine. 2. With Mr. Hunt as its advisor and Charles Day as its leader, the tribe could not do otherwise than complete that year of the Search suc- cessfully. 3. A few disciples were lost, while others again took up the Search with the tribe. 4. As the eldest tribe it set the example of earnest work and digni- fied behavior for the newer tribes. 5. At the end of the sojourn the tribe broke up, each disciple enter- ing and continuing the Search in the land most favorable to him. 6. And it shall come to pass that in future years, each Searcher of the tribe of ' 23 will become well and favorably known in that land that he has chosen. GENEVIEVE WAUGH, ' 23. Degrees M. H.
