Bill of Rights. He has done a great deal for some of us by inspiring us to do better work. Elwood is gifted in art ability, and after earning his diploma he will cnroll in the Philadelphia Industrial School of Art. Anyone that has seen her on the dance floor knows that dancing is one of her hobbies. jcan's favorite subject is trigonometry and her name appears on the honor roll constantly. lfVe know she will succeed in her plans to be a nurse. 1946 Sowbnter LUCILLE MANGOLD Route 3, Allentown Lucille is recognized by everyone for her friendly smile and easy laugh. She served well as the first president of the Home Economics Club. Chemistry is her favor ite subject with gym a close second. Her hobbies are dancing, movies, and horseback riding. She will enter Beauty Culturist School in fall. Course: Academic Mixed Chorus 1: Girls' Chorus 2, fl: Senior Operetta 33 junior Play 3: Home Economics Club 4. VVILLARD NIANTZ Laurys Although Manu appears to be quiet, he is really lots of fun. We find him in shop much of the time because this is his favorite subject. Ice skating is his favorite hobby, with baseball and football as an equal second. Willard is undecided about his future. Course: General IRENE MEHRKAM Cnplay, R. I Irene has a pleasant smile for everyone. Sincere in her work, she has attained a permanent place on the honor roll. Irene devotes much time as news editor of the Trumpet. Out of school, she enjoys reading and dancing. Irene's plans for the future are still indefinite. Cours ' e. 1946 Sovobiter Romani' NEEB Route ji-3. Allentown Bob is our champion trombone player. He has held this position in the band and orchestra since before he entered high school, for his main hobby is music. Bob is also an ardent member of the debating team. Outside of school work, he is interested in Christian Endeavor. Next year Robert hopes to enter Bob jones College to become either a minister or a missionary. Course: Academic Band l. 2, 5, 4: Orchestra l, 2, 3. -l: Debating 3, 4: Operetta 3: jr. Oratorical 3. GLoRlA OswALn Orefield Even though Gloria appears to be quiet, we find that she has more life than we think she has. Her favorite pastime is dancing but nevertheless she is able to lind time for skating and playing tennis. Her favorite sub- ject is French but she also possesses a keen interest in gym. Gloria is undecided on her plans for the future. Course: Academic AIJELINE REMALEY Orefield Wherever there is fun and laughter, Adeline is sure to be present. She can be seen at all of the basketball games cheering with all her might. Addie's hobbies are dancing, skating, and bicycle riding.
