'Q' Z f 1946 Sovobtter 'A' ARAL HENNINGER Coach The IQ45-40 flfgctsleetball Season Once again we can proudly congratulate Coach Aral Hen- ninger and those fighting Trojans for spelling out South Wfhite- hall as the champion of the Lehigh-Northampton League. XVith the exception ol' Capt. Dick Schaadt, the entire squad was comparatively green. In spite ol' this, our team gave a very good accounting ol themselves. Being a guard, Eddie Wfillenbecker could recover those rebounds, but he never forgot to be one of those high scorers. Harold Geist, the scoring star of the VVhitehall playoff, also proved himself to be a valuable guard. The small Hash , in the form ol' Chuck Holtzman, could really sink them. As for Schaadt, we couldn't have had a better playing, better leading. or more encouraging captain. Alton YVehr, 'ALuke George and George Sherbotie were always on the ball ready to boost our game at a 1noment's notice. John VVaricher and Barton Hun- sicker stood in there prepared to help finish that Hght for victory. Mfe all extend our hands to ball-snatching Norwood Kern, the only junior who played first string. Lots of luck to you next year. The appreciation felt by the team and the student body towards Coach Henninger was plainly demonstrated in the spirit which brought us through victorious.
