Varsity Club few sir The purpose of the Varsity Club is to promote better athletic participation and sportsmanlike conduct. Members must letter in a varsity sport according to the school's athletic department requirements. Each member must be voted in by a two-thirds affirmative vote ofthe Varsity Club members. In the fall members of the Varsity Club sponsor and edit the football programs which are available to fans at home games. .......-...- And they thought the Three Hundred Spartans were tough . . . The cheer- leaders are chosen according to poise, neatness, personality, academic standing, and their ability to be leaders. Try-outs are held during the spring of every year for all girls Wish- ing to he cheerleaders throughout the coming year.
