The Club aids many students in making decisions on their ambitions. and its purpose is to explore teaching, as a career. Requirements for membership are that the student must he voted in, that the student must have and retain a C average in all subjects, and that the student must participate in one of the many Committees of the F.T.A. At Christmas the club makes favors which are given to the elderly folks at the Brethren Home in New Oxford, the McDowell Memorial Home and the Hillview House in Hanover and the members also collect toys, clothing, books, and many other items for the mentally retarded children in York. At Christmas F.N,A. gives a punch pour for all teachers and employees of South West- ern. The F.N.A. Club received The Parents' Magazine Youth Group Achievement Award for outstanding service to the community. Hard working girls who devote most of their free time to cheer up patients at the Hanover General Hospital . . , Kiwanis Banquet Honoring FNA . .
