SUPERVISING PRINCIPAL ' - 4 ui. f x nf, SOUTH XVEnTERN I SCHOOL DISTRICT zoo vwmiv. nm Hinmf, vem,v:n..,i xtnfpstm: nr 1 fmt, H ri.. s..,wi,,qi TO: The Class of 1965 The great Scroll of Time unwinds, and the script thereon bears witness to the fact that another year of school life with its varied experiences has run its majestic course. The years spent in high school by virtue of their accomplishments should be prideful in retrospect. Days of achievement and joyful as- sociations, past and gone, should be reincarnated as pleasant memories for the future. During the years you spent here, we observed your efforts, activities and achievements with keen interest. While little clouds of anxiety appeared above the horizon at times, yet your success always resulted in happiness. The hallowed memories of your class will always be an inspiring benediction. May I extend to you sincere good wishes for the days that lie ahead, and my fondest hope is that success and happiness may be your lot throughout a long life of useful service. May you always prove faithful and never betray the implicit pride and confidence of your Alma Mater. Remember this motto as you go Out of School Life into Life's School. - - 4 1 X SOUTH WESTERN I SCHOOL DISTRICT :A 1-.mmmasll alma m.wt.:rin.. cfeiw H, TO: The Class of 1955 Success in life depends not only on intellectual ability, but on initiative of the individual and the moral capacity to live in an upright fashion. With out knowledge you merely exist. Without ambition you stagnate. Without fine character you are like the tree that bears poor fruit. You have been encouraged over the past twelve years to seek knowledge - to store fact and truth for future use. I encourage you to always continue this quest. Observing those about you should lead you to conclude that success stories are as varied as the people who make them. When success is based around ambition involving selfish goals, the results are often distasteful. May I suggest that you pat- tern your lives after those persons who truly have made contributions to the well being of their fellow men. My best wishes go with you all for a successful and happy life! Sincerely, X. JETVZQZX Z f Thomas A. Schade High School Principal f- 5 I - 1, if I K . There will be other mile- stones as you travel on life's highways. The foundation of knowledge which you have been able to lay at South Western is but a fraction of the never-ending process of learning. Combined with a continuing desire to learn, it should permit you to erect a structure of success in the years ahead. Use this basic structure wisely and take advan- tage of the many opportunities which are available to you in this democracy. Because of your staunch determination, because of your desire to succeed, and because of your perseverance, you have com- pleted the basic structure of learning. You have my very best wishes for full speed ahead in all of your tomorrows. Very truly yours, 'WQMMX fp? of Frederick G. Bollinger Assistant Principal
