As he walked down the airfield, Werner recognized a neat-looking airline stewardess. It was Mary Jane Mahlkuch! Over a cup of coffee Mary Jane told him of her plans for making a non-stop flight to Australia. Deciding he 'd like to share his experiences with someone, Werner visited his Senior class advisor and high school principal, Mr. Rehmstedt. When he learned of the activities of the 1955 class, Mr. Rehmstedt said, T hat class showed the wander-lust in high school--I'm not surprised to find them scattered hither and yon.
