SUPEDINTENDENT §nDEDIMlEMDEMX The theme this year SPECTRUM OF AN ERA brings the 1980 s to a close, and along with it brings to mind all that has taken place at South Summit thru the Era that we are now ending. We are very fortunate here at South Summit. We have a Progressive District with Excellent Teachers and Principals dedicated to Quality Education. Many eventful changes have taken place in our school district and at the high school. As we look forward to the 90 ' s we will see the completion of the new high school with all it s beauty. It will provide superior facilities, and a comfortable atmosphere in which to learn. 1 would like to express to each of you my fondest hope that all your dreams become a reality, that success will follow each of you in your individual pursuits and that the education received here at South Summit will benefit you in reaching your goals. I really believe that your potential is unlimited and that you can achieve anything in life if you are willing to work for it. I have every hope that as you work toward Honorable Goals you will be an Example To Others. It is up to you. PDINCIDAL DDIMCIDVr Everyone commend ' - us for the splendid work we are doing in the area of Outcome Based Education. It ' s important to understand that the real strength of South Summit High School comes not from material growth or from steel or concrete but from the unseen realities of the Hearts and Minds of the Faculty and Students that make up our High School. I believe that we are experiencing a big awakening in the area of Quality Education. Vour theme this year is SPECTRUM OF AN ERA. As the 1080s come to a close, along with it comes a new era of Hope, Success, and a promise of a new beginning, learning as we go, accepting the challenges as they come.
