For the clubs and organ- izations of South Stanly, ' 66 was the year of activity. Student Council sponsored a Goodwill Industries drive and a paper drive, in addition to multiple varied activities in school. Honor Society enter- tained first semester honor students with a candlelight tea. F.H.A. had Christmas projects, and home projects, and Red Rose Girls. Projects, conventions, par ties, ser- vices. . . .each club and or- ganization spent the year in activity. And each club and organ- ization fulfilled a need at South; they served the school purpose — education for cit- izenship — by giving students opportunities to serve and participate. CLUBS 17
