Mr. Adams is a graduate of Peru State Teacher’s College, lie teaches torld history and is the Athletic Director. This is his second year here. Mr. Cooper teaches instrumental music. He sponsors Homecoming and the Junior (.lass. He graduated from Aesleyan College and has taught here for four years. Mrs. Davis teaches typing. She is in charge of ticket sales and the National Honor Society. She graduated from the University of Nebraska and this is her seventeenth year. Mr. boss is a Pep Club chaperon and supervises the Science Club. He teaches Mathematics and is a graduate of Morningside College. He has taught here for three years. Our new principal is Mr. Raymond II. Speulda. This is his third year in South Sioux City. Before coming here, lie served as Superintendent of the Clearwater, .Nebraska schools for three years and basketball coach one year, fie started teach- ing at Deloit, Iowa. Miss Gertrude Vlasak is our Assistant Principal. She teaches Senior English, sponsors Homecoming activities, and sponsors the Senior Class. She is responsible for all high school attendance records. Larry Johnson Jim Kurtz Clara Legg Bonnie Lott Mr. Larry Johnson is the head Football Coach. He teaches History and is the sponsor of the Junior Class and S Club. I his is his second year. He graduated from the University of Omaha. Mr. Kurtz is our Industrial Arts Teacher and is in charge of the Stage Crew. He has taught here for four years, lie is a graduate of University of Nebraska. Miss Legg teaches Algebra and is in charge of Librarians and assists in Pep Club. She has taught here for twenty-eight years. She graduated from the University of Nebraska. Mrs. Lott teaches English. She teaches Physical Education and spon- sors the Sophomore Class and the Cheerleaders. She graduated from Wayne State Teacher’s College. She has taught here for three years. Frances McKnight Mrs. McKnight sponsors the Junior Class and is in charge of class plays. She graduated from the University of Iowa. She teaches English. She has taught here for two years.
