Arione Malcom i Robert Patterson Lillian Rich Mrs. Malcolm is our Spanish and Knglish instructor and she is the Freshman Sponsor. She graduated from Morningside College. This is her first year in South Sioux City. Mr. Patterson is a graduate of the University of iNebraska. ile is the vocal music instructor, ile sponsors Homecoming and is a Pep Club chap- eron. He has taught here for one year. Mrs. Rich teaches Home Economics and is in charge of ushering and serving. She has taught here for nine years. She graduated from Univer- sity of Iowa. Mr. Scott went to Wayne State Teacher’s College and the University of Nebraska, ile is our Geometry and Industrial instructor. lie is the spon- sor of Pep Club. This is his first year at South Sioux City High. Mrs. Shepard graduated from Midland College. She teaches Problems and Government. She supervises the lunch room and is in charge of the Debaters. Larry Johnson Jim Kurtz Clara Legg Bonnie Lott Mr. Larry Johnson is the head Football Coach. He teaches History and is the sponsor of the Junior Class and S Club. I his is his second year. He graduated from the University of Omaha. Mr. Kurtz is our Industrial Arts Teacher and is in charge of the Stage Crew. He has taught here for four years, lie is a graduate of University of Nebraska. Miss Legg teaches Algebra and is in charge of Librarians and assists in Pep Club. She has taught here for twenty-eight years. She graduated from the University of Nebraska. Mrs. Lott teaches English. She teaches Physical Education and spon- sors the Sophomore Class and the Cheerleaders. She graduated from Wayne State Teacher’s College. She has taught here for three years. Frances McKnight Mrs. McKnight sponsors the Junior Class and is in charge of class plays. She graduated from the University of Iowa. She teaches English. She has taught here for two years.

Esther Wilson Sharon Lewon Mr. Shepard went to Midland College, the University of Nebraska, and Pennsylvania State. He serves as Junior High principal. He is the head basketball coach. This is his first year in our school. Mr. Stoltenberg is a graduate of Peru State Teacher’s College. He serves as the Driver Training instructor. Mr. Taplin is a graduate of Kansas State Agricultural College. He serves as the chemistry and Vocational Agricultural instructor. He spon- sors F.F.A. and this is his first year. Mrs. Wilson is a graduate of Morningside College. She teaches Sec. training, Distributive Education, Shorthand and Business Machines. She supervises ticket sales and has taught here for three years.
