Thursday, better known as Times day to Archer students, finds all subscribers including Sam Carter, Ken Davis, and Bob Bartel perusing the school paper. Concentrating all their efforts on the typewriters, loyal Times members Janet Dinius, Peggy Schmidt, Janet Brenn, and Jenny Manth furiously type to hand in last-minute copy. The quest for learning . . . unexhaustible and always challenging. Tom Halley seeks solitude in the public library to study and to ques- tion the knowledge found by others.

But Your Honor, pleads Jim Carter as District Attorney Flint on behalf of his client Miss Faulkner, portrayed by Cindy Miller. Jack Winder as Defense Attorney Stevens has just questioned the infallibility of the handwriting expert, played by Susan Bond, in the interests of his client Karen Andre, played by Judy English. Judge Heath, portrayed by Tom Felger, other members of the senior play cast, and the jury picked from the audience, hear testimony about the Night of January 16. Waving good-by to the well-wishers who have come to see them off, journalists Evie North, Sally Capps, Jim Carter, Bob Shine, and adviser, Mr. James Rohrabaugh eagerly anticipate the coming week at Columbia University in New York City. Karen Klaehn, Patty North, and Nancy Redding find that art too takes a forward look as they view an oil painting at the Art Museum. 8
