Jhrouah th f e Seasons The scene . . . always the same, strong and firm, yet somehow always different. South Side High School, stress- ing education above all else, ably provides for the needs of some 2,000 students of all walks of life witli many varied interests. At no other period in the school's thirty- eight year history has the education of America's youth been more impottant to the welfare of the people as well as the country. The future of the United States depends on the ability of its schools to teach not only subjects, but also to instill a never-failing curiosity and desire for knowledge beyond that available in required textbooks. Throughout the seasons, the faculty and administration of South Side strive to meet this challenge in the best pos- sible manner. By providing a varied curriculum and many different activities, Atcherland is able to give all an oppor- tunity to discover their talents and abilities.
