I960! A year of triumph and disappointment, of excitement and boredom, of unforgettable par- ties, homework, and memories . . . and of our Totem. To capture the hustle and bustle of Kelly life, we planned to carry the idea of the sweep of time through the year. After taking and retaking pictures of all aspects of Archer activities, we have tried to create a yearbook which will retain forever the spirit of I960. All meaning of vacation was lost as we measured, cropped, and pasted for many long hours. Flaring tempers and slight disagreements added spice and variety to our work. Under the watchful eye of Mr. James Rohrabaugh, our adviser, we searched for just the right ideas to present to you. It will be impossible to fotget the never-failing assistance of Mr. Harry Cole of Clippinger's Studio and of Morey, Jerry, Irish, Frank, and Don, the pressmen. We are grateful for the lasting patience of the teachers, coaches, and students with whom we came in contact; and to our many staff members, who diligently labored in notifying teachers, writing copy, and retaking pictures, we give double credit. Finally, a special thanks to Dan and Roy for listening sympathetically to our never- ending problems and complaints. Our work at last completed, we present the South Side yearbook . . . your book. -The Editors Arnd nowj sweeping, wi th the ti ime • • •
