' on a ure ounolafion . . . Before school closed last year, Work had already begun on the foundation for the new addition at the northeast corner. Bulldozers and cranes moved in and soon were uprooting trees and shoveling truckloads of earth. Then forms were laid and the foundation poured. While the Archers enjoyed easy summer days, Work continued at schoolg and the erection of the Walls progressed. Workmen at the southeast end of the building labored at replacing the old stoker heating plant with a modern oil unit, as seen in the picture at the lower left. 6
