Each girl possesses personal ity, sportsmanship, and an average scholastic grade. The three officers of the squad are: Captain Joyce Marshall, First Co-Captain Elanda Gore, Second Co- Captain Delores Ross, and the Majorette, Deborah Grant. This year the squad is under the supervision of Miss Joyce Turbinton, who was once a twirler in college. We have planned a number of beauty workshops, speakers and field trips. The highlight of the year will be the visitation of the Editor in Charge of Circulation of the new Black Women's magazine, Essence. She has accepted our invitation and will speak at our annual Fashion Show. We look forward to a very interesting year. The Pacesetters are an organization of students who cheer along with the cheerleaders at football games. They sell shakers and buttons to raise mon- ey for school activities.
