WILLIAM BILLY GORDON “Billy Bang Bang says Let’s do it again.” He is an athlete on the football and basket ball teams. He spends his spare time listening to jazz. His favorite actress is Debbie Reynolds. He is also a member of the Social Ccts. BARBARA GORDON EL “Bobbie is a cheerleader, and on the Optimist Staff. Bookkeeping, stenography, and typing are her favorites in school. Her Krincipal sport is bowling. When she sees lobert Taylor, she says Hey Honey. Her plans after school are to attend business school and become a secretary. MELVIN GRAVES “Ain't messin’ with it says “Magahay. who is planning for a college future. While at South Side he's participated on the Executive Board, the basketball team and Social Ccts. You can find him listening to Tracks of My Tears or watching Sammy Davis, Jr. GEORGIA M. GREEN “You better be cool, says Gigt- She plans to go to business college. During her spare time she bowls and roller skates. Her top subjects are history and science, and she plays an organ. Her favorite songs: It’s Gonna Take a Miracle and “God Bless Our Love. TONI GREEN T.G. plans to go to designing school. In her spare time she’s cither talking to boys or listening to Unchained Melody. “Stop it, child, is her favorite saying. She digs rock 'n' roll the most. T.G. is an ’active member of the Newark Youth Program. WILLIE GREENE You never have time to do anything says Brother.” In his future plans college is his next stop. He is busy in the Honor Society, G.O., Optimist Staff, and as Vice President of the Senior Class. Willie likes to listen to jazz and rock n' roll. He is also a member of the Social Cets. 28

EDNA THERESA GILES Terri” plans to get a job after school recesses. Her fuvoritc subject is English and her hobby is dancing. When not busy with school work, you'll find her looking at The Fugitive or listening to “I Want to be With You.” by Dee Dee Warwick. GAIL OILYARD “Gigi says “You're Kidding! She plans to become a Spanish teacher. In school her favorite subject is Spanish. Gigi is a member of the Creative Club, Spanish Club. Optimist and Recorder Staffs. When not studying, she is listening to I'm so Proud. EVELYN GOLDS “I'll do it tomorrow. says Evie. She plans to become a legal secretary. In her spare time, she goes roller skating. Among her favorite rock 'n' roll songs she lists “Unchained Melody.” Her favorite school subject is secretarial practice. She has served in the Guidance Office. TEDDY GOOD Ted plans to go to a technical school. His spare time activities arc weight lifting and constructing. His favorite subjects arc math and science. Ted enjoys television, playing basketball, and wrestling. He loves to listen to rock 'n’ roll and jazz. ARNOLD GORDON D.G.’s ambition is to find a good job. His favorite quotation is All that's good. He is the co-captain of South Side's swimming team. He cnjo s listening to rock 'n' roll. His song choice is Fork m the Road Natalie Wood is his favorite actress. 27

Top acting personalities arc Ursula Andress and Paul Newman. Lorraine goes for Honey West and The Man from U.N.C.L.E. ROXANNE GRIFFIN Roxanne's future plan is to find a high-paying iob. Her favorite subjects are typing and English. In her spare time you might find her listening to Me Without You, by Mary Wells. Her favorite TV program is Bewitched. PATRICIA HACKETT Pat’s favorite subjects arc biology and math. She is on the Optimist Staff and Service Club. Her hobbies arc sewing, dancing, and singing. She likes modeling and jazz. Paul Newman and Joan Craw-ford arc her favorite actor and actress. She plans to be an airline stewardess. AGATHA HALL For Aggie next stop is nursing school. Gym and Latin have been her top South Side subjects. A fan of rock ’n’ roll, and jazz, she lists basketball and bowling as sports favorites. Peyton Place and The Baron are her TV choices. Stop it, child is Aggie's saying. SAMUEL HALL Cool Lonnie Val plans to attend Newark College of Business. He's a member of the Social Cel. His favorite records arc Agent Double-O-Soul and The In Crowd. lie is the Co-Captain of the soccer team and a Junior Historian. He likes jazz, rock 'n' roll, soccer, football, and basketball. 29
