She says Robert Vaughn and Dorothy Malone play to neat pictures. They arc number one in her book. GEORGE EPPS South Ward Basketball and Baseball Teams and singing in Mixed Chorus and Boys’ Glee Club have been using lots of the time of Eldorado. Jr. He likes U. S. History and English for studying; Jazz and rock n' roll for listening Be cool. advises this future Air Force member. IMOGENE ELLINGTON Pepsi says, It's out of sight. President of Sigma Lambda Theta Sorority, she's on Optimist Staff. Mixed Chorus, and Senior Girls' Glee Club. Imogcne likes Choosey Begger. Sophia Loren, and Bill Cosby. In the future she plans to be a fashion designer. GEORGIA ERVINGTON Typewriting, gym. health, stenography, and English have been Georgia's top school subjects. Sewing and reading are her recreations. For Georgia the job choice is being a medical secretary. A member of her church choir and Sigma Theta Psi Sorority, she relaxes by swimming and skating. CARL JAMES EVANS For Bub singing in Mixed Chorus and Boys' Glee Club has been relaxing after athletic deeds on the football and track teams. He likes music such as Hole in the Wall and cheers actor Bill Cosby. He advises. Cross that bridge when you come to it. CHARLIE EVANS “June is expecting to get a high-paying job after graduation. In his spare time you might find him doing anything His favorite subject is history. He loves rock 'n' roll, especially Tracks of My Tears. He says Better now than later. 23

ANNIE LEE DOCTOR “Eliza hopes lo become a nurse. While al South Side she was a member of the Creative Club. Her favorite subjects are history and English. She enjoys watching “Dr. Kildare and The Fugitive. with a little basketball or tennis on the side. JAMES JOSEPH DONAGHY “Practice what you preach. says Jim. whose future plans include college. His club activities have been Library Staff and N.C.C.J. Richard Widmark and Sophia Loren arc his acting favorites. History (any kind) is his subject. The Man from U.N.C.L.E.” is his TV choice. IRENE DOCTOR Business school is the aim of “Rilla. She enjoys sewing, reading, dancing, and watching sports. Record keeping and U.S. history are prime subjects. A member of Junior and Senior Choirs, Rilla likes rock 'n‘ roll, gospel, and jazz. Her acting favorites are Vincent Edwards and Connie Stevens. ROSALYN DRAKE Ros wants a typist job after graduation. She is a member of the G.O. Her spare time is spent playing records like How Nice It Is. She enjoys typing and English. Her favorite television program is the Fugitive. John Lowe is her top actor. LEROY DUNCAN. JR. All that's good. says Duncan. He has plans for business school. His favorite sports arc football, basketball. When he's not listening to jazz or rock 'n' roll he can be found watching “I Spy. or Man from U.N.C.L.E. His favorite song is Since I Lost My Baby. BEVERLY EDWARDS Bev says, “All that's good. Her plans are to become a nurse, but in the meantime you'll find her singing or bowling. Her favorite subjects are gym and music. When it comes to music she says give her good ole rock 'n' roll anytime. Her favorite actress is Bette Davis. 22

HELEN EVANS To be a secretary is Helen's ambition. She finds pleasure in sewing, reading, bowling, and dancing. For sports Helen watches basketball and football. Sean Connery and Carol Baker are her movie stars. Ain't That Peculiar and Hole in the Wall are top tunes. AUGUSDINE FENN Augic” avers It ain't hardly nice. Nursing school is a goal she's set. In South Side she has preferred Mixed Chorus and U. S. History. Augusdinc listens to both rock 'n' roll and Spirituals. Going to a Go-Go is her top tune. “I Spy is her program. RUFUS FISHER Rufus is known as Walking the dog Fisher. His hobby is basketball. He is in the History Club and Library Staff. History is his favorite subject. His favorite on TV is Where the Action Is. After graduation he plans to be a salesman. JAMES FLACK The Pro says, I will succeed in Howard. His favorite subject is U.S. history. You'll find him listening to Papa's Got a Brand New Bag.” He might be looking at The Man from U.N.C.L.E.” He goes for Joan Crawford and Lee Marvin in a big way. ROSEMARY FLANAGAN An enthusiast for typing and steno. Rose plans on holding a secretarial position after high school. Unchained Melody is her favorite song. She finds Peyton Place quite interesting to watch on TV. Her most admired actors are Tony Curtis and 007 agent Scan Connery. 24
