He belongs to the French Club and his favorite sports are baseball, basketball, and skating. Dennis' favorite actor and actress are Jerry Lewis and Debbie Reynolds. REBECCA BFATTY A nursing school is in the future for “Becky. Business machines and U.S. history’ have been good subjects for her. President of the Sigma Theta Psi Sorority, Rebecca loves skating and playing basketball. Rock 'n' roll is her musical choice, and I Found My Love” is her song. JAMES BECKER For Jimmie the top subject South Side has offered is history. He enjoys baseball and is a fan of our diamond squad. Popular music sways him. For James the most popular is Green Berets. His recreation is watching television, especially The Fugitive. CLARK BFMBRY A fan of Burkes Law and actor Gene Barry. Little Man loves music, and especially “Since I Lost My Baby. U.S. history and English are out of sight for Little Man.” who plans to attend a business college. SAMUEL BENNETT Well all right, says Sam. Drum Major and a member of the Honor Society. Senior Band. N. J. Youth Band and the Senior Executive Board. Sam's plans are to attend college after school. Sam's favorite subjects arc math and chemistry. His favorite actor and actress arc John Wayne and Kim Novak. 11

JO-ANNE BAKER “Jo” hopes to combine job and further schooling after graduation. Typewriting has been her school favorite. Reading s her hobby. For sports she likes basketball and volleyball. Musically, Jo prefers rock 'n' roll and tunes like Wake Me, Shake Me.” DE LANA BANNISTER “Tootsie. whose favorite saying is “All that’s good.” plans to attend an IBM school. When she is not cheering her team to fame, she is listening to “Tracks of My . Tears or looking at “Peyton Place. Math and accounting are her top subjects. CAROL BALDWIN Carol, generally known as Prcssie, is usually doing her hair or listening to rock 'n' roll or jazz records Her favorite subjects are salesmanship and typing. She is also a member of the church choir. Carol’s favorite record is “Yes I'm Ready. She adores Gene Barry. LILLIAN BAPTIST Slim says, Arc you for real? Her plans are to become a nurse. You will find her volunteering at City Hospital. She is a member of the “Youth Fellowship Council. She listens to gospel and popular music. Her favorite actor is Sammy Davis. Jr. SANDRA BARNES Hey, Square! says Sandy. Next stop for Sandy is business school. She's a member of Y.W.C.A.. Egyptian Debs. Sandy's spare time is used listening to Sad Sad Uirl and “Since I Lost My Baby. She digs Gene Barry. Sidney Poitier. History'. Consumer Problems arc favorite subjects. SARAH BARNUM Sarah plans to go to a school of business. Besides being on the Junior Red Cross and Service Club, she enjoys typing and history. She also sings with Mixed Chorus. In her spare time she listens to I’m so Thankful. “Is that right?” asks she. 10

CAROLYN BEVERLY Mickey is forever saying Galeee! After graduation she wants to go into the beauty culture field. Her favorite hobby is abstract painting. A member of the Phi Delta I’si Sorority, Mickey loves jazz, and The Temptations. Her best liked actor is Sidney Poiticr. WILLIE BERRYMAN Says Woolic, Keep on pushing. Her hobbies arc dancing, attending parties, and all outdoor sports. Secretary of the Junior Red Cross, she's also active in F.B.L.A and the Optimist. Woolic plans to attend Drake's College of Business and become a successful secretary. RUTH BLUE Baby Ruth likes U.S. history, business machines, and typing—also “It's Gonna Take a Miracle. We expect her to be a success as a PBX receptionist. She digs football and says Hey. Baby over Dean Martin. Ruth is an active member of our Optimist Staff. VIRGINIA BOWMAN Says Judly, Live today, for tomorrow may never come. She plans to study in a business school. Fond of listening to Something You've Got. Baby or looking at Peyton Place. she lists Barbara Parkins as top actress. History is Virginia's best subject. MARY BORAK “Pook will further her education at teachers college. Although she's treasurer of the Junior Historians and a member of National Honor Society and Service Club, she finds time for bowling and badminton. Between games she watches Peyton Place. Her favorite stars arc Rock and Doris. 12
