Our Watch Crystals Mrs. Rose P. Simon Miss Rita L. Gill HOMEROOM TEACHERS Like the crystal of a watch, our homeroom teachers have watched us in a protective manner. Just as a crystal is made of the finest glass, they have been of the same fine quality. They have taken an interest in every one of us, securing a smoothly running future, by keeping obstacles out of the way. Throughout our four years, they have considered no problem too unimportant or too great to deal with. We all realize that without this protective covering, our course would not have been so unobstructed and enjoyable. 7

• • Our Winding Stems. Mr. Morris Josephs GRADE ADVISORS We, the graduating class of January 1953, wish to express our thanks and appreciation to our class advisors, who have given so generously of their time and advice. They have been like the winding stem of a clock, regulating our activities and enabling us to continue with speed and accuracy in overcoming every obstacle, no matter how difficult. We shall try to the utmost of our ability to live up to the high standards set for us by our “Winding Stems . We shall always strive for success in every undertaking, just as we have in the past, with the willing and never-to-be-forgotten help of our grade advisors. 6 Mrs. Rose P. Simon

Many times in the course ol our lives, the entire outcome of our future seemed to be in the hands of our clock. These hands continue to turn, hastening the moments yet to come and casting those already enjoyed into our sea of memories. When we look back upon those moments, however, we realize that like the hands of a clook, oui class officers have played an impor- tant role in our lives. We wish to extend our thanks, appreciation and congratulations to the Hands of Our School Clock . They have constantly shown us the proper tihie to discus and act. Certainly, without them, our class would not have ticked with such regularity. We did have them, however, and we profited from their guidance.
