LILLIAN FOX Lillian is a friend io all of us. She is quiel and reserved on the surface but underneath we find that she has a fun-loving personality. It's been swell having her in our class. 0 D1)(D VERDELLE GARNETT Parles-vous, Francais? If you say Oui, then you will probably be added to Verdelle's long list of friends. Besides being a scholar in French, Verdello is also musically inclined. Her piano olaying and singing have brought her school fame. RICHARD FREEMAN Richie has made lots of friends because of his various interests. He is known for his wide smile and the cheerful word he has for all. The doors of success have surely been opened to this swell fellow. ROSALYN GALLOF A very sweet and ambitious girl, she was a former student of Wee-auahic but preferred South Side. She is well-mannered and very courteous. Her sweet and easygoing smile has won her a great number of friends. TERRANCE GILSENAN Terry is a fun-loving boy. You can always find him mixed up in some sort of prank. He can also do his school work and achieve good grades. Terry could well be called one of the happy mediums SANDRA GALE The attribution of scholarship, leadership, and service-all three have rated high during Sandy's four years at South Side. A wonderful girl, we can be sure that she will swim through life on the crest of every wave. HERBERT GLASSER Handsome Herbie would need a slide rule to count all the friends he has made. Nonchalant and carefree, the air is filled with laughter whenever he is around, for Herbie lives in a world of joyful spirits.

JOAN DRANIKOWSKI The radiance of her hair can only be shadowed by the sparkle of her smile which was designed to light the dullest corner. Joan has an effervescent personality which has brought to her many pals and much popularity. ELVIRA FERNICOLA Elvira goes by the saying, Silence is more eloquent than words. Although she doesn't say much, she achieves honor in everything. High in intelligence and high in character, she will always be outstanding in all her accomplishments. DAISY EDWARDS Daisy is noted for her graceful and expert dancing. Her dancing is just one of her various interests in and outside of school. She has a cheerful personality which has won her many friends during her years at South Side. ISAAC EVANS Isaac is a reserved person who does his work well with a great deal of sincerity. Outwardly shy, he is always friendly. We are sure that with all these sterling traits, Isaac will long be remembered by his many friends. WERNER ENGELSBURG Werner's likeable manner and outstanding appearance have won him a place high among the senior students. His optimistic attitude toward life, coupled with a sparkling sense of humor have made him a wanted friend and one we'll long remember. IffliW JACK FISCHER A happy-go-lucky fellow with a happy-go-lucky smile, that's Jack Fischer, class of January 1950. During his four years in high school, Jack has proved himself to be a good sport and a good friend. DONALD FINDLEY Effervescent, imaginative, popular, even these don't seem to do justice to Don. A strong link in the chain that is our high school career, we owe more than a proportionate share of our loughs, fun and good times to him.

JACK GOLLIN Jack's magnetic personality has left his mark on our class. His great athletic ability, proven on the basketball court, plus his sharp wit and good looks, have made Jack one of the most outstanding and best-liked members of our class. BETTY GRIFFIN Never sad, always in the midst of a happy group, Betty will never grow lonely. Her strawberry blonde hair and her sweetness are known to all. Her future will be bright and her chain of friends will never cease to grow. SHELDON GRANIK Sheldon is an ambitious, pleasant, and considerate person who deserves the best that life can offer. A necessary card in our playing hand, we wish him the best of luck and good fortune in years to come. HERBERT GRIES Just as honey draws bees, Herbie has attracted many friends and admirers. His champagne-like personality and his sincerity have {nade him a perfect pal, his keen wit and outstanding intelligence have insured him the admiration of his classmates. RHODA GROSS Liked are they of pleasant ways” -That's our Rhoda. Popular with all her classmates, she possesses all the qualities that are necessary to make a real success in life EDNA GREEN Little in size, big in ideas is Edna. She is liked by everyone and is impressive in everything she accomplishes. She is bound to be a success in any field in which she endeavors. HENRY HALL Man of few words are the best men. This applies to Henry who doesn't say much but shows his personality by the many friends he has made here at South Side. Good luck to a swell guy!
