KENNETH BERGMAN Tall, popular Kenny has earned a place of respect in our hearts. His fine bass voice has brought him many well deserved honors. The fact that Kenny is the best of company is proven by his host of friends. DOLORES BROCK Dolores is a sweet, cheerful person who has won the friendship of many. Proud of South Side's extra-curricular activities, above all, Dance Group and Mixed Chorus, Dolores has worked hard to make a name tor herself and her school. DONALD BLAINE Donald is a likeable fellow, always ready with an intelligent or humorous remark. His good looks, with a carefree and fun-loving nature and winning personality combined, have made him well liked by all who know him. ELIZABETH BRESSMAN If popularity wore money, Libby would be a millionaire. Willing to help and ready to serve, she has activities that range from Treasurer of the 4A class to Co-Captain of the Twirlers. Good luck to a very wonderful girl. VIOLA BROWN Viola is a modest senior but with her sincere and quiet ways, she has made many tnends. She is a real credit to our class because she has always worked faithfully and cooperatively. We wish her loads of success in the future. ARTHUR BLUMENAU Art is a friendly, fun-loving person who is well liked by all his classmates. His unassuming manner and intelligence plus his engaging smile have made him a fellow well worth knowing during our four years at South Side. SEMENITA BRUINGTON With a mischievious glimmer in her eyes, Mitzie is always cheer-lul and gay. She can be depended upon to participate in any activity that will benefit the class. She has made loads of friends and will continue to make many more. 9

SYLVIA ABRAMOWITZ Sweet, sincere, serious - that's our Sylvia, who has endeared herself to all our hearts. Her unaffected modesty has won her a great many friends and has earned her a very high place on our list of favorites. DORIS BALDEROSE Her humor, her energy, and her consideration for her associates are the things which make Doris's friendship a fine possession. Her determination has won Doris the admiration of her friends and placed her firmly on the road to success. ROBERT APPEL Bob is the strong, silent type. Although he wastes no words in class, he possesses a sparkling sense of humor, a fun-loving nature, plus a great deal of energy as displayed by his remarkable cheerleading ability. ANNA BARDASHEWSKY Wherever there's fun, there's Anna. Her gay and cheerful ways have won her many friends. Full of pep and energy as displayed by her cheerleading ability, she will always be remembered as an important member of our class. ERNEST BARRON Whenever you see a small, neat, cute person strolling through the halls, you can be sure it is Ernest. He is always a perfect gentleman. Ernest has also won many letters and emblems for South Side's field activities. RAYMOND ANDREWS A mischievious glimmer in his eyes, plus a ready grin for another fellow's antics give Ray a sense of humor that is hard to beat. He is also blessed with a beautiful tenor voice that has brightened many an assembly. GLORIA ANDERSON Gloria has truly accomplished something here in South Side, for her sweet ways have made us want to work and play along with her. She has both intelligence and common sense and uses them to the fullest extent.

MARGARET BUKSAR The name Margaret derived from the Greeks meant a pearl; but our Margaret is more than a semiprecious stone. A true gem of a student and friend, she will make more than an efficient secretary. LAVINIA CHINN On the list that's entitled personality A the name of Chinn ranks high. Full of pep, vim, vigor, and vitality, as displayed by her cheerlead;ng ability,' La-vinia's high spirits enliven her surroundings and have won her innumerable friends. HARVEY BUSSELL Full of pep, fun-loving, and fancy free that's our boy Harvey. He has readily and steadily supplied us with humorous and witty remarks to make our four year stay at South Side a more enjoyable one. DOROTHY CAMPINO Take ore pair of precision roller skates, sprinkle a little sweetness, add a pretty face, and a happy smile, beat well and blend with friendliness. There you have our recipe for Dottie Campino, an important member of our class. RUTH CLARK Never speak unless spoken to has been advocated by the sages for centuries. Even though she says little, you can rest assured that when she does it's something worthwhile. Ruth will surely enter the field of success. DOLORES BUSTO Dolores can be identified by her boauliful blonde hair and charming smile. Her talents in music and languages have endeared her to the class. Dolores can shoulder responsibilities and we know she will lead a full and happy life. CAROLINA COBB When we think of Carolina, we think of a friendly person with quiet ways. We are sure that her future years will be happy ones because she has always been successful in her years at South Side. 10
