Paul Greenberg, president Doris Kearns, vice president fi Judy Lehman, secretary exhibiting student leadership As the coordinator tor all school functions and activities, the General Organization ably performed the duties at South Side-'s student govern- ment. One heard a constant hum ot ac'ivi'y in the G.O. oftice, as pur- chase orders were typed, checks were mailed, and tigures were balanced. All school matters originated here, as the GO, ott7ciers worked together to enable South Side to function ethciently. One ot the tasks ot the executive council, the ohicers who comprise the governing body ot the GO,, was the choosing of committees, while the GO. representatives had the power to alter these committees. To bring the workings ot the General Organization closer to the student body, meetings were held regularly, in this way the G.O. obtained new ideas and was better able to function more to the benefit of the school. ln the General Organizae tion rest the democratic principles and etticient leadership necessary for a fine student government. Checking accounts are the tireless G.O. otticers, ll.. to RJ Judy Lehman, secretary, Sam Kartadioemena, co-treasurer, Robert Stein, co-treasurer, Doris Kearns, vice president and Mr. DeFreitas, advisor. n' p .Q Sam Kartadiaemena, treasurer Robert Stein, treasurer
