seniors Under the capable leadership of .their officers, seniors took full advantage of thei' last year of high school by continually displaying school spirit and senior fun. Their excellent salesmanship tumed the first senior proiect, the magazine sale, into a finan- cial success. Selling subscriptions for popular maga- zines, seniors eamed money toward their class dues while engaging in good-natured rivalry. Seniors also performed in a talent assembly which rivaled the fin- est professional variety show. Senior hats appeared on the street, in the public library, and at athletic events where spirited seniors were heard cheering the loudest. Climaxing the years in high school, the Big Prom was the background against which seniors gathered for one last dance. Through every proi- ect, the senior class officers aided the class of 1960 in becoming efficient workers and conscientious leaders, and instilled the feeling that the photo- graphs of the senior year are by far the most mem- arable.
