underclassmen What has been a year of culmination for-the class of 1960 has merely been astep toward gadu- ation for the underclassmen. ln this year, however, they have gained experience will prove invalu- able in the hid1 school years that remain. Guided bytheiroliicersandthetraditionsofSouthSide,the underclassmen have shown that they ae well on their way toward establishing their mark. For the sophomores, the year has been one of discovery, for newooursesandnewsituationshavebeenpresented to them. The iuniors, on the other hand, have con- tinued the precedents which they set a yea' ago, and have prepared themselves for the role of upperclass- men next year. Bravely bearing the titles of little sophomore and large junior, the underclassmen showed evidence of a sense of fun, along with the qualities of leadership, sportsmanship, and integrity which are so necessary for the role they will event- ually play.
