Dr. Herbert F. Johnson Superintendent of Schools South Side High School is a picture of cooperation between faculty and students. Photography credits must be given to the members of the Administration. Dr, Herbert F. Johnson, Superintendent, Dr. Alfred J. Cereste, Administrative Assistant, and Mr. J. Dale Mcliibben, Principal, for their contributions have been notable. in his seven years as superintendent, Dr. Johnson has worked toward the coordination of activities of the high school with those of the elementary schools. He has given the Rockville Centre schools the leader- ship essential for the efficient functioning of our educational system. Dr. Cereste, coordinator of the different depart- ments of the system, has helped to make the com- munity aware of the activities and accomplishments of the schools. Your Schools, a news bulletin sent to Rockville Centre residents, focuses a spotlight on the advances in the school district. Administering South Side is the work of Mr. Mc- Kibben. Through his expert guidance, South Side has encouraged a record of scholastic excellence and student responsibility.
