Composed of approximately thirty girls and boys selected through auditions at the beginning of the year, the ensemble meets regularly to rehearse. Several Ense-mble members tried out for the Long Island Sectional Chorus. The Mixed Ensemble also performed at various school functions. GIRLS' ENSEMBLE, L. to R., ROW I: C. Franco, R, Coonfield, D. Kearns, J. Ohlbaum, J. Lehman, C. Munter, K. Holmes, S. Melia, Including over twenty iunior and senior girls and their alternates, the Girls' Ensemble meets weekly to rehearse under the direction of Mrs. Sally Tobin Dietrich. Participants met at the Concord Hotel tram December 5-8 tor rehearsals and the presentation at a concert. Tney excelled in the difticult auditions and were chosen to represent South Side in the two hundred voice choir directed by Mr. David l-lolz. Composed ot Sophomore girls, the Treble Clet Club is one of the tew clubs whicl' does not have monthly meetings, tor the girls meet weekly to rehearse under the direction ot Mrs. Sally Tobin Dietrich.
