Through cooperation and willingness to work, the Class of 1959 developed many memorable proiects. Guided by the outstanding leadership of the senior class oflicers - President Arlene Garrett, Vice- president Susan Wershals, Secretary Gail Clayton, and Co-treasurers Carl Fogelberg and Philip Friedman - the Class of '59 displayed interest in varied fields. En- thusiasm and talent made the class picnic, the senior talent assembly, and the senior play, The Remarkable Incident of Carson Comers, landmarks in the school year. Sale of magazines and senior hats added to the excitement of the last year in high school. By encourag- ing class unity and cooperation, the otlicers of the Class of '59 have helped their classmates prepare to take part in community life after graduation.
