Brown, Adviser Miss Carol Wood, L. Sommers, C. Roth, N. Kamen, E. Baker. Guided by its adviser, Miss Carol Wood, the French Club planned a varied and informative program tor its members. Highlights ot the year included several pup' pet shows, a Christmas party featuring a play and French pastry, and a tield trip beginning with luncheon at a French restaurant and concluding with a French movie. Designed to increase the knowledge and enjoyment of Spanish, the Spanish Club, under the direction of Miss Dorothy Compton, ottered a variety ot interesting programs during its monthly meetings. ln an early meet- ing two members ot the club gave a detailed account ot their gay Mexican summer, and the annual Christ- mas party included the breaking of the pinata. understanding romantic cultures SPANISH CLUB - SEATED: J.
