The annual Christmas party with the singing of familiar carols, the proiects and games at other meetings all made learning tun. Once again South Side became the scene of calculated and precisioned controversy as the De- bate Club was re-instated after an absence of seven years. Open discussions followed by tormal debate and an assembly program served to broaden the reasoning abilities ot the club members. Motion pictures and lectures by doctors probed and explained the working of the human body. In order to give the school's science students more advanced and practical experience in this atomic world, Mr. Woodrow initiated a Chemistry Club. The meetings were divided between guest speakers from industry and laboratory experiments performed by the members themselves.
