Archery, badminton, volleyball, and hockey comprised the tall season of extra-curricular sports. After many hours ot practice and training under the guidance of Miss Louise Cressey and Mrs. Dorothy Casey, the girls became smoothly operating teams. Players in each sport participated in inter-mural com- petition. The most outstanding athletes represented Badminton H o n o r Team, L. to R.: M. Andre, B. Moutaf- chieff, V. Woodcock, A. Skuggevik, J. Galletly. South Side at Sports Day, where they met teams from four other high schools in the surrounding area. Although South Side did not succeed in capturing first place, the players exhibited cooperation, team- work, ability, and sportsmanship. They have been a credit to the school.
