Kemper, South Side's new Radio Club has erected a transmitting tower to send their signal around the world. The members have converted room C-2 into an actual radio room with even the console holding equipment designed and built by the members. From the government the Radio Club procured discount items to aid in the proiects. Organized to give South Siders a background in an engineering career, a Junior Engineering Tech- nical Society made its initial appearance this year. Assisting students in the potential selection of en- gineering through demonstrations and discussions is the main objective of the JETS.
