PHYSICAL EDUCATICN GIRLS Through its many activities, the Girls' Gym Department contributes to the making of a Well-adjusted indivi- dual. Volleyball, captain basketball, and speedball provide fun while sup- plying experience in working coopera- tively with others. Calisthenics de- velop coordination, while swimming teaches grace and provides practice in a skill useful for a lifetime. Mean- while, mental attitudes are not over- looked, for in health classes, problems in hygiene and general physical Well- being are discussed. VVholesome incliviclual and team competition teaches them how to get along Well with others, how to face prohlems inclepenclently. and how to win or lose well.
