High quality materials are needed to build a vessel capable of withstanding the fury of the seas. These materials must be strong in composition to endure the on- slaught of the wavesg yet, despite their strength, they must be workable and flexi- ble to lend themselves to the construction of a ht ship. These students are those materials at South Shore. In four years of preparation, they study to become able to face and con- quer the innumerable crises which they must encounter. They come from a fine community, and they have firm educa- tional backgroundsg thus they have strong compositions. 'llhey have natures which can be developed through all the phases of school life into the most meet kinds of citizensg thus they have the trait of flexi- bility. The materials for shipbuilding and the students of South Shore bear many likenesses, for both are important in the building of a seaworthy ship.
