Their en- thusiasm and spirit continued throughout the season, during which time they learned that only through cooperation could they perform efficiently. A successful lineman who opens a path for a runner to make a sizeable advance would derive as much pleasure as the ball carrier. Considering their formidable com- petition, a record of four wins and three losses is easily under- stood. After the league games started, three members of Coach Wil- liams' squad, Art Villasenor, Dick McKinney, and Ierry Lurie, graduated to the varsity. Other Frosh-Soph standouts will be vying for varsity berths next year. Among them are lim Nathen- son, Lyman Goss, Roger Carlson, lack MacKimm, Les Iohnson, Gene Natzke, Roland Behny, David Benson, and Bob Gerst.
