The goal of Mr. James Nevins as superintendent of Shelby County R-IV is to seek the best education possible for the students and have a program that enables each graduate of South Shelby High School to become a contributing member to our society, W He serves as a link between school and the commimity, he makes recommendations to the Board of Education regarding budget, personnel, and overall administrative procedure. As principal he is responsible for supervision of all teachers, cooks, janitors, and extracurricular activities. His extra-ordinary spirit of co-operation with the students enables him to run the school smoothly day by day. Mr. Moore has respect for his family and faith which aids him in being an outstanding citizen in our community. John Crawford Assistant Superintendent Mr. John Crawford has been with South Shelby as Assistant Superintendent for seven years. He is Director of the Federal Program and responsible for transportation. The classes he teaches include math-analysis and trigo- nometry.
