Mr. Keller was avery big 102, of the team if not more. Without him the girls could not have done as well in their year's play as they did. Many atime there were tensions and demanding situations, but Mr. Keller held his own as well as holding the team together. Mr. Keller-taught the bas- ketball girls much and they worked hard to be a good and winning team for their coach and school. The defense, Marge Broughton, Fran Caldwell, and Janelle Jarboe, are taking a big stride to stop Palmyra's forwards from scoring during South Shelby's tournament, in which the girls went on to win first place. Janelle's, Connie's, and Fran's eyes are on the ball. They must get it onthe offense so they can rack up more points for South Shelby. 85
