SCH GGL SPIRIT THRIVES At right, some of our favorite acrobats try their skill at forming a human pyramid. The student body, assembled for a pep rally when the feat was attempted, appreciated the group' s efforts. However, it was generally agreed that the boys need a little more practice before they will be ready for the United States Olympic team. Below, it is hard to believe that a short time ago this hall was filled with eleven hundred noisy students. School spirit is a vital part of life at South San. At left, the results of digging deep into closets and imaginations are displayed by a group of Seniors who typified the effects of Crazy Day on the student body. One of the activities of Homecoming Week, Crazy Day was held to promote interest in So. San' s Homecoming game against Uvalde High. During football season the top officers of the classes decorated the goal posts at Bobcat Stadium, in keeping with school spirit. These officers are Tony Levia, Mary Lou Sandoval, Seniors, Paula Morris, Elsie Kerfoot, ,Tuniorsg Sylvia Dominguez, Evangelina Lopez, Sophomoresg Norma Pena, Janie Sosa, Freshmen.
