Business Education Growth is Steocly Mrs. Madelene Croft Mr. ,Tack Burkholder Miss Molly Robbins Mr. Walter H. Hafner Mrs. Wilma McCrury This year, the Business Department offered eight classes in Typing I, four classes in Typing III, four classes in Ste- nography I, one class in Stenography II, five classes in Bookkeeping and one class in Business Law. This shows the growth of the department since 1959, when there was only one Bookkeeping class, one Shorthand class and three Typing classes offered. At that time, the Department was staffed by only one teacherg this year, there are five teachers in the Business Department. Their primary purpose is to train our students to become qualified office workers upon graduation from high school. Antonia requests Mr. Hafner's aid in unsticking her fingers from the keys.
