Heading the events of Latin Club were Rich Shoup, Presidentg Sue Johnson, Vice-Presidentg and Sharon Blackburn, Secretary- treasurer. Supervising was Mrs. Dunn. Each member wears a toga to the meetings. First year stu- dents wear plain white, second year are entitled to wear a red border, and third year may wear purple. Activities sponsored by the Latin Club were a meeting with North High Latin Club and a Roman Banquet.

Assist- ing him was Bobbie Hundemer, Vice Presidentg David Lyles, Secretary-Treasurerg and Cindy Duch and Mark Roberts Executive Council. The club participated in a Christmas Caroling Party and sponsored an April dance. To stimulate interest in the Spanish Language was the main purpose of the Spanish Club. Activities included a Christmas Caroling Party on December 17 and a joint meeting with the North Salem Club. Randi Nlartin, President. Scott Freeburn, Vice Presidentg and Genice Gladow, Secretary-Treasurer, served as officers of the club. INTEREST SI-ICDWN l French Club is one of the oldest clubs in South. The primary activity this year was to present a Scholarship to the outstand- ing French Student. Officers of the Club were Janette Schendel President, Cindy Tompkins Vice President and Alice Trezise, Secretary-treasurer. Mrs. Leah Smith was the adviser. On October 1, 1965 The Queens Ball was held in the gold room of the Marion Hotel. The theme ofthe tormal dance was Once Upon A Time, and SaIem's tour Job's Daughters Bethels sponsored the function to honor the Present and Junior Past Honored Queens.
