The girls' physical education teachers are Miss Shirley Zimdars, Mrs. Doris Dyer, and Miss Wilma Earnest. In 1955, South had four Health and Physical Education teachers, each teaching in both , f areas. After ten years, ten teachers make up the combined department, Only one, Mr. Gary Goodson, teaches in both areas. Miss Shirley Zimdars and Mr. Hank luran have been with the South Staff for the entire decade. i ?'t' Marv Heater and Hank luran are the full-time boys' physical education teachers. Mrs. Mabel Preckwinkle and Mr. Robert Johnson joined the staff at the end of the first term in the 1962-63 school year. Mrs. Dorothy Judd joined the South staff in 1961. She served on the Willamette University staff as assistant registrar for two years and returned to South last fall. Mrs. Helen Edmundson and Mr. John Norman have been at South the full decade.
