Counselors Advise A staff of six counselors, with headquar- ters in the new Guidance Center, are now on duty at South High. The four counselors, who aid the deans in solving student problems and in improving student-teacher relationships, are Mrs. Craft, Sophomore Class counselor and teacher of health, Mrs. Edmiston, Junior Class counselor and teacher of English, Mr. John- son, Senior Class counselor and typing teach- er, and Mr. Tilton, Counselor in charge of the testing program and American Problems teach- er. onfer Miss Heringer, Dean of Girls, is a graduate of Minot Teachers College in North Dakota, and attained a Masters Degree at Willamette University. As advisor for Girls League, she encourages the cabinet to use individual initiative in program planning. Miss Heringer gives per- sonal attention to both individual and group problems. Mr. Ramsdell, Dean of Boys, was educated at Will- amette University and there attained a Masters Degree. His main duty is to counsel boys concerning their prob- lems, but he also supervises student parking and traffic regulations.
