Committees TRAFFIC SAFETY Writing up the student parking rules was one of the duties of the newly formed Trafhc Safety Com- mittee. Other duties were checking cars for parking stickers and reporting to the administration on trat- tic conditions around the campus. ASSEMBLY PLANNING BOARD Originality, patience, and the ability to spend time and work hard were the qualitications ot each of the Assembly Planning Board members who assisted the First Vice President in plan- ning assemblies. SOCIAL COMMITTEE Many nights after school were spent in originating themes and dec- orating the east balcony for the en- joyment of the students who attended the after game dances held at South High. Assisting the second vice presi- dent in the planning and organizing of these dances was the A.S.B. So- cial Committee, made up of L. to R.: Linda Hammond, Linda Ritchie, Terry Gustafson, Terry McGlinn, Laura Kendrick, Sue Zwicker. ...J s STUDENT HEARING COMMITTEE Through the Student Hearing Committee, the influence of the leaders ofthe school can be brought to bear on the problems of the school. The Committee urges students to take responsibility for the condition of the school them- selves, and not to depend upon the administration. Saxon Laws Enforced and Spirit ii i, fi: , ii... -.. f BUILDING AND GROUNDS Under the chairmanship of Bob Hart- man, the Building and Grounds Com- mittee looked for opportunities to improve the campus appearance and strived for the cooperation ot the stu- dents in keeping the building clean and attractive.
